The market is saturated with products that promise ease of use, multiple functions, and it’s hard to find a bargain that won’t quickly fall apart or be outgrown. For those new parents out there who might not be familiar with the terminology, a travel system means that it is a set which comes with a car seat, a stroller, and a base for said car seat. These are all things that you will need anyway with the exception of the base, as you can often ‘click connect’ car seats, but those bases are nice to have. They help to ensure that the car seat can be easily clicked into place, snugly and securely, and in our opinion they are well worth having. So, if you hear the term ‘travel system’, now you know what it is. It is simply an ‘all inclusive’ package when it comes to transporting your child.
Specifications of the Graco Fastaction 
The first thing to consider is the specifications and while we are on the subject, The Graco comes with a bit of a bonus. If you decide to bring your little one to Disneyland one day and you happen to bring your Graco, you won’t need to rent a Disney stroller. That’s because the specifications for the Graco already fit the standards that Disney requires for bringing a third-party stroller inside (nothing larger than 31” wide or 52 inches long!). It’s a nice little extra. So, what are its specs?
- The car seat on its own measures in at 30.7″ Long x 18.7″ Wide x 15.6 inches High and is rated for up to 30 pounds of weight. This is also FAA approved so you can bring your baby on the plane in this seat! It is also compliant with Federal Motor Safety standard 213 so your baby is well-protected when you travel.
- This standard sized stroller folds up to the dimensions of 18.5″ height, 22.5″ width, and 28.5″ Deep. This definitely makes it easy to stow away when you need it without taking up all of yout trunk space. The stroller itself is also rated for up to 50 pounds so it’s nice and sturdy.
- This stroller comes with TWO trays, one for the parents for 2 cups and a tray with one cupholder for baby.
- Comes with a canopy and ‘peek-a-boo’ window
- Has a basket space so you can take baby shopping
We should also point out that folding this stroller up is not an ordeal, simply requiring one free hand and compression. This unit also includes multiple incline settings, machine washable cushions, and the wheels lock for when you are out walking and want to take a breather. All in all, it’s a nice little stroller and we approve.
Ease of use

can be done in less than an hour and when you are using it you get satisfying clicks to let you know that the car seat or stroller components are secured in place. The harness is easily converted from a 5 to a 3 point harness as needed and in general this model is a breeze to use.
The caveats
As far as the downsides, there were only a few items that we didn’t like. First, the car seat weight capacity is a little on the lower side and we didn’t like that. There is also not a level on the car seat so initially installing takes a little bit of practice in order to perfect. The canopy doesn’t close up completely, either and the stroller doesn’t completely recline. While these are not deal breakers for us we wanted to mention them in case one of these items might b
